Welcome to Wags Dog Training School! Our training school was founded to support the clients of Wags and Whiskers Pet Hotel as well as independent dog owners seeking professional guidance. Our purpose-built Training centre was designed and tailored to provide the perfect environment for effective training sessions, ensuring the best possible results for our clients and their dogs!

Having been a part of Wags and Whiskers since its inception, we quickly realized that many of our canine hotel guests could benefit from additional support in areas like behavioral adjustments and command training. To meet this need, we established a dedicated training facility where we help dog owners build a healthy, safe, and trusting relationship with their furry companions.

The Silver package is a (Pay as you go) facility and consists of a One-to-One Training programme includes: a 90 minute introductory, in depth, evaluation questionnaire where we can get to know the dog/s and their good side and identify their training requirements and how best to work with them. 

The Silver package offers this initial session, the Participants will be the Trainer, client, and dog so we will discuss, with you, to identify as well as prioritise the issues for training. The package also includes a further 1 hours training with the trainer and the dog, this one-to-one Hour training session at a time suitable to you.

The Gold package is a Paid in advance (Workshop Block Booking) facility and consists of a One-to-One Training programme which includes: a 90 minute introductory, in depth, evaluation questionnaire where we can get to know the dog/s and their good side and identify their training requirements and how best to work with them plus 6 further one-to-one training.

The Gold package offers this initial session, the Participants will be the Trainer, client, and dog so we will discuss, with you, to identify as well as prioritise the issues for training. The Gold package also includes a further 5 hours training with the trainer and the dog, the final hour, of this booking, is a one-to-one Hour training session which involves the client directly with the dog in a handover training session to cover the training done so far.

The Silver Package is a pay-as-you-go one-to-one dog training programme. It starts with a 90-minute in-depth evaluation session where the trainer assesses your dog’s behaviour, identifies training needs, and determines the best approach.

What’s Included?

  • Initial Evaluation Session (Trainer, client, and dog) to discuss and prioritise training needs.
  • One-to-One Training with a professional trainer.
  • Flexible Scheduling – sessions available on weekends, evenings, or weekdays. Not available for Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. 
  • Behavioural Training for issues such as anxiety, excessive barking, lead pulling, recall, and socialisation, and more. Requirements are determined on the initial evaluation session.
  • Drop-Off & Collection Options – either drop your dog off, use our collection service (fees apply within 30 miles), or opt for day boarding at Wags & Whiskers Pet Hotel with training included.
  • Real-Life Training Environments – sessions in different locations with distractions to improve response.
  • Progress Video Updates after training sessions.

Pricing & Booking

  • £65 per hour (pre-booked and paid in advance).
  • After 5 training hours, the 6th hour is a handover session, where you work directly with your dog to reinforce training.

The Gold Package is a pre-paid, block-booking workshop that provides structured, one-to-one training for your dog at a discounted rate compared to standard hourly pricing.

  • 90-Minute Initial Evaluation – A detailed behavioural assessment with the trainer, client, and dog to identify and prioritise training needs.
  • 6 One-to-One Training Sessions – Tailored training sessions focusing on fundamental obedience (sit, down, stay, recall, lead work) and behaviour modification (socialisation, anxiety, excessive barking, aggression, etc.).
  • Flexible Scheduling – Available weekends, evenings, or weekly at our purpose-built indoor training school.
  • Socialisation Training – Exposure to different dogs, energy levels, and environments.
  • Drop-Off & Collection Options – Choose to drop your dog off, use our collection service (fees apply within 30 miles), or day board at Wags & Whiskers Pet Hotel with training included.
  • Training in Real-Life Environments – Sessions conducted in fields, around multiple people, and with distractions to reinforce learning.
  • Video & Picture Updates – Regular updates to track progress.

Handover Session

  • After 5 training hours, the 6th hour is a handover session where you work directly with your dog to reinforce and apply the training learned.

  • The standard hourly rate would be £525 for 6 hours, but with the Gold Package, you pay £499.
  • For every subsequent Gold Workshop you book, the price is £370 which is a 25% discount, offering further savings on continued training.

Platinum Package – The Ultimate Training & Boarding Experience

The Platinum Package offers an exclusive workshop block booking, combining advanced one-to-one training with premium accommodation at Wags & Whiskers Pet Hotel, all at a discounted rate.

Pricing & Discounts

  • Workshop Block Booking: £499 per week (minimum 3 weeks).
  • Subsequent Workshops: £370 which represents 25% discount (for every additional 6-hour training block).
  • Wags & Whiskers Pet Hotel Suites: 5% discount on your preferred accommodation. Pricing depending on suite type selection.
